Danielle comes to Garden City after serving as the Budget & Strategic Initiatives Administrator for the City of Lawrence, Kansas. She started her career with Lawrence in May of 2016, where she was a full-time intern in the City Manager's Office. Before working for the City of Lawrence, she was an intern in Olathe, Kansas, and Kearney, Nebraska. She was recognized for her professional accomplishments by the Kansas Association of City/County Management in 2020 with the Early Career Excellence Award, served as a delegate to Local Government 2030, instructs for the KU Public Management Center’s Certified Public Manager program, and is a founding member of the Kansas Chapter of Women Leading Government.
