Anonymous Tips

Anyone with a cell phone can now send anonymous tips to the Garden City Police Department by texting the word GCTIP and their tip information to 847411 (tip411). Anonymous tips can also be submitted via our Web site by clicking here.  This program allows us to send a return text, therefore creating a two way anonymous "chat".  Tipsters sending information through our Web site will be given a code that enables them to log back into their tip to see if we have sent a request for additional information.  All tips received through tip411 are 100% anonymous.  Technology removes all identifying information before the Police Department receives it so there's no way to identify the sender.
