Pound employees work with the Finney County Humane Society to place photographs of animals for adoption in the Wednesday's addition of the local newspaper. They also work with the local KSN news to picture Pet of the Week on television. The pound utilizes the newly formed foster care program, which helps to give adoptable animals a little more time to find the perfect home. These programs have helped to increase the number of animals getting adopted.
